Thanks for posting Rosa. I think FB happened and people connected through FB. Forums in general have given way to FB Groups but it cannot replace a searchable database of forum posts.

I was sad to hear this news but not surprised,I haven’t posted for a long while and the forum has changed since I started,I am forever grateful for finding this when I was first diagnosed,I was also getting used to learning how to use my I pad so it was tricky. There was a time that people could come on the forum and feel free to vent and ask questions and share,I think I loved the idea that it had a sense of community and friendship feel about it,we were brought together with the same interest, that was lost along the way,not to sure why.Wishing everyone the best,I loved being apart of this forum,I can truly say I have learnt a lot.

It has been years since I was an active member but I want to thank each and everyone of my sisters who helped me recover and understand breast cancer. I met some beautiful forever friends and still miss those I have lost. Janine and Cheryl left a legacy that I will always be grateful for. I wish to pay tribute to the courage of the friends I lost. Especially Mazza, Leslie, Christine, Jennifer, Gayle and Belinda. Thank you to Janette for keeping the forum going, so that new members could join and receive the friendship and encouragement that I gained from those already on the forum. Love and blessings to all GG

Not an easy decision to archive the forum but Janine (founder) said many years ago that when the forum no longer served the purpose it was set up for, it would be closed. The decision to archive rather than close was made so that it could still be referred to.
Anyone wishing to post may do so before 25 August 2020.
My eternal gratitude to Janine and Cheryl, the Advanced Breast Cancer Group of Qld who continue to fund the forum and to all our members past and present.
