Oh Girls
I’m so sorry to read of all your health issues. Life sucks sometimes. I hope you are all managing as best you can and have things to look forward to in 2019.
I cannot complain. I am fit and well. Retirement has been postponed as I will be doing acting AP role this year.

Hi Janette and Jan,
Jumping on the bandwagon here... I am back on chemo for tumours in my liver that have taken on a life of their own! Now dealing with low platelets and possible revision of chemo plan due to that. Cancers really are the gifts that keep on giving.

Good to see you post Jan. The bag seems better than the symptoms you have suffered in the past. I hope it goes very well and eases your pain. Good that it isn't cancer.
I lost half my lung with lung cancer and have emphysema but doing well with the help of inhalers. I haven't smoked for 35 years but thankful it was picked up and operable
We still get new members, one today. We would love to hear from them.

oh heck; here I go again. Just a "catch up" as I still frequently tune into this forum and lately notice there seems to be no new posts. Well I am posting to say I am on hospital waiting list for a "formation loop ileostomy". Or in my language "a bowel bag". Its not cancer, but after every test known to man over the past 12 months; it has been labelled "dysfunctional bowel". Hopefully I will get my life back without pain and have somewhat of control over my body
At 77yrs old I decided to dictate on my terms and told surgeon/specialist I have a cruise around the islands [fiji; samoa and tonga] booked for March and along with my pain pills I will go on it - he agreed and so ileostomy will be done in April.
Now how about a "catch up" from some of you and where are our new members??
