Even though I have a cold at the moment I am actually having some good days thank God. I am really dreading that it all starts again on Thursday but I will just have to suck it up and remember that there is only one more after that. My so is going to try and work afternoon shift on the bad days this time so that I am not left home alone for as long which is probably not a bad idea. I have some Tramadol left over from last time and I will get another prescription this time so will be able to take it more frequently. I will also get the panadol osteo as Christine recommended as a few other people have recommended that too.

I am keeping on keeping on and this too shall pass.

Thanks Christine, it's been an awful week I have to admit. Tonight is much better than the last couple though, I haven't even needed pain killers. The neuropathy is so bad, I have trouble typing and using my mobile phone is difficult. At least I am sitting upright today, the last two days I could barely stand. It seems to take around 10 days for this chemo to get through my system and the worst days are day 5 & 6, hoping for a reasonable weekend and then onwards. Two more to go.

Wasn't it Jo from Park Orchards? And KakaCathFreespirit, the Cath who came to a couple of lunches.

I had been wondering about Jo too Christine.

Panadol Osteo for the pain Judy? Take it around the clock, three times a day. It may help with the Taxol aches etc. Also get some Ativan next time you go as it will help you sleep at night. I took it every night when i first had chemo and just stopped after. Get it at PM pharmacy as other one might charge you full price. Say you can't sleep and get anxious/upset from it so could u have some to lessen that.
Ah, so Cath free spirit, now i know. I wonder how Cath from Park Orchards is going, haven't seen her online for ages.

Chris it was Cath from the hills (unless she has moved) that you have caught up with at PM. The free spirit one, LOL I can't remember her name.

The pain in my feet/legs actually seems worse this time. I do have some Tramadol to take and have started with the first one but I have to space them out as they will only give me 20. At least it's not the constant rain this time so I can go outside and walk a bit which seems to help. I am trying to keep more positive. The most difficult bit is that I wake up constantly during the night in pain and don't get much sleep. Maybe a Tramadol before bed will help tonight.

Cath seems well, she was not there for treatment, she was there with someone else having treatment. We talked about another get together and she did show interest in attending.

Having three kids who went to different primary schools and secondary schools this happens to me a lot. I, too have had long conversations with ladies who ask after my children by name and I'm thinking ...do I know you from kinda...primary etc etc...lol and I have NO idea who they are even though they look vaguely familiar. Bit awkward to ask who they are.

Also often young adults speak to me in the street (just hello how are you ) and I realise they must have gone to school with one of my kids and they are now 24-30 ish.

You are not alone Judy....how is Cath doing?
