I went past the point of solugel helping for my radiation burns and was put on silverzine cream, cleared up well after that, that is what they use for burns victims in hospitals.
Infact my lumpectomy scar was a little unsightly after having a staph infection the following week and since radiation has improved the look of the breast greatly, apart from the different colour!

Hi Karin
I have 3 weeks to go - actually I have 11 zaps including the boosts, so I am nearly done. My skin is starting to break down now but the nurses have shown me how to dress it to try and prevent it from getting any worse. The rads doc said it was not unexpected but they really can't predict how each person's skin will react. However I think I can tolerate 11 more treatments as each day there is one less to go!!!

hi Mishty,
hoping that you'll be feeling better on arimidex, the first time my onc said that i would be on tamoxifen
for five years but last time i saw her she said tamoxifen for the first 2 and a half years and then switch to
arimidex, I gather this has something to do with the risk of uterin cancer the longer you stay on it.
Hopefully in a few years time they'll have something even better to take.
keep us informed on how you are going.
