Telomeres and Cancer

I can imagine in the future, a calming computer voice from a microchip will say...

"Your Telomeres are shortening today. Please make your way to the meditation lounge, and stay there until they reach optimal length again"

Really interesting finding about the tips of our chromosomes, called Telomeres, that shorten with age, and cause disease. implications, and applications, still being assessed by scientists.

A great analogy is that the ends are like shoe lace tips that protect the actual lace. when the tips break off, the laces can fray, and not function well.
