I am using a naturopath which took me quite a lot of effort to find. I also know of another. If it is ok to do so re the rules of the forum I can assist via a personal email or message. Not sure of how we can help each other in this regard without flaunting rules - still a newbie in that regard.
Alternatively it is best to check with as many local CAM providers as possible until you find one who can help or who can refer you to someone who has the experience you seek.

Re: List of recommended complemantary therapists?
Sammy, I found asking around more helpful than the internet in this regard.
In Brisbane, I only found one acupuncturist who truly specialises in cancer / chemo patients. He is an oncology nurse who has been training in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over a decade. I have continued to see my own though, even though it is not her specialty I still found it useful with the head aches in particular.
Your breast care nurse might have suggestions too? Mine is quite open to complementary options.

Re: List of recommended complemantary therapists?
Sammy, I rang the Cancer Council helpline and asked the same question. They were able to provide me with the name of an organisation here in SA who provides support and some complementary therapies, however without giving an actual recommendation. However I was then able to check it out for myself. Perhaps a few phone calls might help you too. Good luck!

Sammy,
It isn't an active area but members do use complementary therapy and hopefully the post will attract some answers.
It is advisable to check anything with your Onc though.

List of recommended complemantary therapists?
I must say the CAMs area is not very active, this will be the first post this year!
Is anyone aware of any listings of recommended therapists?
I have trawled through the peak cancer/ breast cancer bodies and can find nothing.
I am having chemo and would like to have acupuncture, but from someone with experience with cancer and chemo.
Failing that, if anyone knows of an acupuncture therapist who specialises in chemo/cancer on Sydney's north side, could they pm me?
Thanks.
