“I’ve realised that when a window of friendliness and acceptance opens in one area, the sunlight filters through to lots of places” “I found comfort and support in talking to these women for onlyone reason; we were all in the same boat. The sessions were not gloomy, quite the opposite, I would encourage anyone with
advanced cancer to give it a go!”

Here & Now is a six week group program offering 8-10 women with advanced disease the opportunity to discuss a range of issues in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. The focus is on women connecting with each other, sharing information and support. The program is run by experienced
facilitators.

The next group begins in the week of the 11th of February. Sessions run for two hours on a day and time that suits participants. If you would like more information or you are interested in being part of the next Here & Now group please contact BreaCan Programs Officers Wendy Pullan on 9921 0837 or Jenny Rigby on 9921 0836 before the 28th of January.
