Women from Port Macquarie and surrounding areas are invited to attend Breast Cancer Network Australia’s (BCNA) free Breast Cancer Treatment, Care and Looking After Yourself information forum in Port Macquarie on Thursday 17 September 2015.
Designed especially for women, men and families affected by breast cancer from rural and regional areas, the forum will highlight the medical, physical and emotional aspects of living well after a breast cancer diagnosis.
The forum will also include separate sessions for women living with secondary breast cancer. These sessions will look at the latest advances in secondary breast cancer treatment and care, and discuss strategies to cope with the emotional impact of living with secondary breast cancer.
The program will feature the latest information and advice from breast cancer and health experts, inspiration from Olympian and breast cancer survivor Raelene Boyle and opportunities to meet others going through a similar experience.
