Sydney social group

Hi everyone,

A number of years ago, after seeing lots of posts of ladies getting together in other locations, a couple of us in Sydney got quite jealous and decided to organise our own get together. After an early attempt at an event in a Sydney Pub with just a couple of members, we finally held our inaugural event at the restaurant in Centennial Park in Sydney. We try to meet at least quarterly and as our numbers have diminished (thanks to this rotten disease) we now tend to meet at private houses out of convenience. At our lunch today we were discussing reaching out to more people affected by this disease, whether they be old or new members. We just offer love, laughs and support face to face. We chat on our own facebook page (Sydney Pink Drinkers - harks back to the shared love of life of our initial group) and call out to each other when we need support. We decided to reach out today to others who would like to join us. Anyone is always welcome. We don't want to be exclusive, it's just the nature of how it has evolved and how we have had to sadly say goodbye to some of us that has kept us a little apart from our sisters in the broader community. Please feel free to make contact with us if you would like to be involved in face to face meetings. We would really love to see you as much or as little as you would like. Either reply this message and I'll hook you up, or sent a request to join Sydney Pink Drinkers, or send me a private message. Anything, we really want to make sure that everyone who needs face to face support receives it. Please believe we don't want to maintain exclusivity. We welcome anyone who wants love and support.
