I will go and study it.

Thanks guys.

I was a bit confused about the times too.

Duh!!!

Now I feel silly. I have adjusted my time.

A classic case of "read the instructions!"

re Times

Postby Janine » Sat Feb 24, 2007 10:41 am

Everyone can see a different time depending on what they put in their profile. It is not corrected for daylight saving. If you click on 'My Settings' above, you will see the profile page. Down towards the bottom is a place to adjust the time.
I believe there is a mod that will take the time directly from your pc setting which would be much better so I might install that one day.

Yes just saw that the times were an hour out. You weren't up as early as I thought. I get up early but no time for computers in the mornings!

Good luck with your job. I fill in for receptionist at work when she is at lunch or away. I love it....keeps you on your toes as our phone is pretty busy.

When do you start?

I am a stress head , lying in bed in the morning thinking about school uniforms, lunches, breakfast etc etc,
and now I have accepted a job for 3 weeks, 5 days a week 9.30 - 3.00 filling in at reception at DH 's business while perm' is on holidays. I havn't worked in 6 years and have never done reception, I was always the one at the other end of the call, so am very worried about my energy levels working 5 days straight. But they know my situation and if need be I can pull the pin. So after I got the all clear have commited to this and again am up EARLY stressing, gota get over it !

Just checked the clock is hour fast, so actually wasn't that late, must nearly be day light savings change again

Hello yowyow,
I posted on another thread to you about today.
I had my CT scan this morning also.
I am happy to say the needle went in ok, stung a bit but used to
that by now with no veins left like you say.
So, all in all it went well.
Now for the report! I find out in 1/2 hour 4.30pm
I am very nervous right now. I also had a pelvis xray
they can see more than the bone scan she told me.
fingers crossed for us both! :hi5:

Thanks Karin, Jezza I could feel the CT machine vibrating! must have been your
positive vibes.

It took them 20 mins to find a vein in my good arm, chemo has really done a number on the poor fellas.
They kept asking how many nodes were removed from the other one. Hmmm NO WAY!! I knew what they
were thinking.

Its just waiting now.

Thanks all

hey girls
Just wanted to add my two bob and say how wonderful this site is,
I just wish I would have known about it at the start of my chemo,
it just makes this journey that bit easier speaking to other ladies going
through the same thing and even meeting a friend who also attends the
same hospital as me ( Hi Kim ),
And Nav, I'm sure everyone will agree with me when I say that we will be
thinking of you next week when you have your scan,
stay positive and remember we are here for you
Karin :hugs:
