Can I please clarify what you mean by a recurrence? As in a new bc diagnosis or a spread from initial diagnosis?
Was the implant removed because there was a suspected recurrence?

Hi Joy, I'm sorry to hear that you have a recurrence. I had a DIEP and so far no recurrence but I wanted to let you know that I am here and there are other people around too. I hope someone comes along soon who has had similar. I hope you got some answers today at the specialist.

Recurrence following Lat Dorsi
Hi girls, I would be interested to hear from anyone who may have had a reoccurrence following a Lat dorsi recon. I have since had my implant removed, found out today I have a positive result from a biopsy from a suspicious axilla nodule (see specialists tom) all stemming from, I believe, my surgeries.
Sorry if anyone else out there has gone through similar but wld really appreciate hearing from you....
