It would be great to meet up soon to share our memories of Christine. I have no ideas for venues in town as I rarely head that way sorry.
I have our daughters wedding on 21st October :clap: so will be in Sydney that week (the wedding is near Nowra)
It would be great to have a get together again

Oooh exciting MO and Mel it has been far too long. As you are coming such a long way Mel, maybe you can pick a day. I am not free 28/29 October weekend. We also need to think of somewhere to meet as the book shop/cafe is now closed :crybaby:

Dx Jan 2016 Stage 3, 5cm grade 3 tumour er/pr-/her2+ FEC X 4, Taxotere x 4, Herceptin 12 mths.
Bilateral mastectomy with L axillary clearance followed by Rads x 25.
5mm er+\pr+ her2- tumour plus dcis x3 found during final pathology

Yes please! Been far too long. Fingers crossed I can make it down for the day.
Diagnosed in Feb 2010. Lumpectomy and Sentinal Node Biopsy, 24mm ER+ Grade 3, clear margins, no Lymph involvement, wound infection, TC x 4, (zoladex injections during chemo), surgery to fix scar from wound infection, radiation 6 weeks, tamoxifen.

EBC 94 aged 34. Mastectomy CMF, tamoxifen. Mets 07 brachial plexus, supra clavicular node, sternum. Treated with AI's Rads x3 Ooph 09. 2014 met to chest wall,surg, rads. 12/14 Multiple bone mets, rt axillary nodes further recurrence chest wall. Failed on Faslodex. 8/15 Ibrance

Yep...I'm in. Richmond or the city is good and central for public transport. Mighty Oak is from Melbourne from memory? Might be a few other Melb. ladies who haven't been to a get together. Will be nice to meet up again.

New Melbourne Get Together 2017

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone was interested in getting together on a weekend at some point soon. it's been forever!! Unfortunately our usual Book Talk Cafe has closed down which is a shame because it was perfect, so we will need to find somewhere else to meet. I personally liked the casual atmosphere of Book Talk because it meant that anyone regardless of their personal situation could wander in and out and not have to worry whether they bought anything or not.

Anyway let's see who is interested and available. New members would be more than welcome, the more the merrier.
