BRCA 2

Hello Ladies,

I was diagnosed with BRCA 2 about 4 years and after recently having a lump which turned out to be benign I have made the decision to have the preventative mastectomy. I'm 41.
I was wondering if anybody knows of any breast surgeons and/or plastic surgeons in Sydney who will charge "no gap" with Bupa but do the operation in a private hospital without having to be on a waiting list?
I'm aware you can be charged the no gap and go on a waiting list to have it done in a public hospital but the mastectomy would then be done by a student registrar (overseen by the breast surgeon). I'm just not too keen to be cut up by a student!
My cousin who also has the BRCA 2 gene had her mastectomy and reconstruction done in South Australia and both surgeons charged her the "no gap" yet she got to chose the hospital of her choice and also the date she wanted.
Can anybody recommend either a breast surgeon or PS who will charge the no gap without having to go public?
