Re: Call back
Hi and welcome to the forum. I really don't know the stats of callback but there is obviously something that they are concerned about. It could be a precursor or something that needs attention or nothing. Every time I have been called back has been for good reason and I'm very thankful they picked i...

Thanks for posting Chris, that is wonderful news We still get lots of lookers who don't post that I'm sure appreciate hearing great news. Not to mention our regulars who don't do FB, and those who do, better to hear it twice than miss out.

Re: Gift Ideas
The grip sock slippers sounds lovely Bec. Quilts cost a lot if you're not a quilter.
Even knitted squares made into a knee rug are a great idea, they are often donated to hospitals etc. I was in a rehab ward after breaking an ankle and loved the rug which was on the bed.

Re: Gift Ideas
Hi Bec
It's difficult to know what to suggest and probably something suitable for one may not suit others. I have heard of patchwork quilts being gifted to ladies with a BC diagnosis.
I hope your Mum and neighbours do well.

Hi Steph,
Good to start the chemo, I hope it treats you kindly and is over before you know it.

Re: Lung Cancer after BC
Thanks Judy, I tried to block it out and not let it spoil my travels before surgery to a festival. I was determined to enjoy myself and did.
I hope you're doing well with your chemo.

Re: Lung Cancer after BC
Thanks everyone, It's non small cell carcinoma (adenocarcinoma). I stopped smoking 34 years ago (I smoked for 10 years). It's not related to the BC. I saw specialist today and surgeon last Friday. I have a followup in 2 months with a CT scan. It was found incidentally after a CT to check my ruptured...

Hi Rosa,
I just saw this thread. I'm so sorry for what you've been through, losing your Mum. It sounds like you're running yourself ragged looking after everyone except yourself.
Try to take a break for your own health sake.

Lung Cancer after BC
I guess I should let you know I had the upper lobe of my lung removed for a suspicious nodule. It was lung cancer but doing very well. Clear margins and nodes clear.
