Yes I'm also sorry to hear about your cousin. It sounds like she had a really tough time during her last few months. I don't know much about the drugs she had been taking but to give up on her like that must have been terrible for her family.

Very sad.

Good things Medical People have Said and Done

What about things that medical people have said. Some of them know exactly what to say and others are plain awkward. When I first had to take off my bandage to show my ps after my first mastectomy I burst into tears. Now I'm not a crier..or at least not in public and I felt like a baby. She said "Do...

Yes thats right Janine. I guess if it hadn't been for bc Ann wouldn't be doing all these great things.
I guess bc does open your eyes to those around you and make you a more caring person.
Still trying to find some "good" things about this awful disease!!!!

I had excellent care under the private health system. My bs recommended a cheaper private hospital than the one where he had his rooms as he said I would be out of pocket by quite a lot there. Friend had private health insurance and was out of pocket almost $4000.00 just for reconstruction. It was c...

Now thats funny Ally. I don't like those parties either. Don't get me wrong kj-----I love going out with the girls and having a few drinks but at those parties I usually end up buying heaps of stuff I don't really want just to be nice.

At least one good thing came out of your dx then ally

Great story yowyow. Knew there had to be good things about getting cancer. A friend of mine got rid of a couple of telly marketers that way. Interupting them and telling them she had just been dx with cancer and didn't feel like discussing finance and new phone deals . Ended the conversation very qu...

Sorry....don't find it funny. And I did look closley.

He did a fine job trying to patch it up obviously under pressure from 9. They all knew he stuffed up.

Lots of those guys can play sport but doesn't mean they have a brain.

Really annoyed me that one.

Saw it . He is going to regret it. Doesn't matter what he says he meant. He is in the public eye and should know better.

Just because he is a smooth talker or channel 9 went into damage mode and wrote his "apology" doesn't excuse his stupidity.
