Jezza, I cry in the shower. I thought no one could hear but by baby girl (10yrs) asked me if I was crying and that if I wanted to hug her and cry it was ok. Jezza, I have followup appoint with Rads Onc on Monday so I will chat with her but will also see breast care nurse. I've been asked to join a pilot program that Medical Onc is involved with. Should be interesting. I've been researching Tamoxofen and I might see if chemist will dispense script early ...

Thx Judy, It's Saturday and still have headache. I've tried Panadol but doesn't help, going to try ibeprofen. Nausea is everyday and last about 5 hours and then settles.

Day 4 Tomaxifen and nausia

So, Started Tamoxifen on Monday and it's now Thursday. I've had nausea for the past 4 hours or so and headache for 24 hours. Hope this is just the effects of getting used to this drug and that it goes away very soon... :xfingers:

Judy, That's the dilemma I have. The whole what if... If I refuse the Tamoxifen and it comes back.. A whole world I really don't want to think about. I'm hit and miss with periods now. Can go 3 months with nothing then wham the next 2 are extreme. I get hot flashes here and there and joint pain I already have. I'm 46 and some days I cannot get out of bed due to lower back and knees but I guess we learn to suck it up and move on..

Done and dusted.. Went in and spoke with Rads Oncologist and we decided to hit it hard and fast. So, doing 3 weeks intense. Tonight my breast is soooo very sore inside and out. Any advice on relieving the pain. I hate to say it but I had 1/2 a diazapan earlier because I ended up having a panic attack.

Thx Janette, I can't get GP appointment til tomorrow... I have reached out to my BC nurse and waiting for a call back and I have Rads Oncologist appoint this arvo before treatment. I ready wanted to be clear minded when I went to this appointment
