I hate Tamoxifen!...but i'm taking it, this is my little whinge! i have quite a few SE's nowadays, but i'm learning to deal with them...i just dont like it. I dont plan on being on it for five years, i've justified myself with this, never wanted to be on it from the beginning...all i want is babies....

I agree it must be the quantity as well as what we eat. hi Jenny-pop, I was on zoladex while on chemo & rads- i had 3 of them, didnt want the 4th, then had a break during radiation before i started tamoxifen. I ended getting my period after i stopped zoladex, i think there was 8 wks break in between, completely freaked out about getting it amd excite...

hhhhmmm...it was either vent or smack someone out...not that i'm condoning violence, but a punching bag would of been convenient at the time....but I went to meditation instead!...suck it in, push it out!

Oh i really do feel ridiculous feeling like this but you are right JudyB i think its a mix of everything, taking it and end of treatment, feeling my body heal and now having to take something that could make me feel like cr*p!..the pharmacist however did assure me that Zoladex is a lot harsher than ...

Hi Mel,
my oncologist told me not to start Tamoxifen til i've completed :rads: treatment!..has something to do with the effectiveness of radiation and tamoxifen if you've started tamoxifen..that is all i know.
