Living the dream Chris. And well also. I don't pop in very often these days, so didn't notice the name change. Hope you're well also.

Re: What would you say to your 16 year old self?
Thanks Molly, great idea. I would tell her: Don't stress out too much about not getting the apprenticeships you want... the right job will come along when you're not looking, and it will bring you into the world of technology. That guy you're crazy about ends up being a service station attendant, an...

thanks ladies for all your replies. As I thought, I'm just a little to eager to get back to normality.
Yes Blizz, the menopause symptoms did increase to what I had on the medication, but nothing I can't deal with. I may have to put my gel mat back on the bed though to help with those night sweats.

no pain meds. I was off those after the first week. Hubby reckons it's probably my hormones trying to adjust.

Hysterecomy 3wks ago, but soooooo sooooooo tired
I had a Hystercomy 3wks ago, and I'm currently sleeping at LEAST 12 hours a night. I have to force myself out of bed. Once I'm up, I can keep going but once my head hits the pillow, it's bye bye. Is this normal? How long is this expected to last? I feel like I'm wasting my days away. But maybe I'm j...

mothers day classic - who's going???
Hey girls. Who wants to meet up for the mothers day classic walk? I'll be recent out of surgery, so will only sign up for the 4km walk (with doc's permission), but I have a few friends who want to do it so I thought... why not? So's who would like to come along? Don't worry if you can't walk much, y...

Just popping in to say Hi!
Hi everyone. I don't drop by very often, but I think about you all the time. So I had a spare 5 minutes today and thought I'd drop by and say "Hi", and let you all know I'm still doing well.
Love and strength to you all.

Re: Alloderm with implant
I always saw it as a gift. As for being widely used, there are a couple of surgeons in Perth who I know use it quite often, but because of the higher than normal risk of infection, you really have to be the right type of candidate. It's mega expensive if you want to pay for it yourself, so best to t...

:) I made it all the way through to the finals :)
Well, what a weekend. I made it all the way through to the finals in my first ever meet. And they gave me a trophy too ... It's so cool. But now I have been noticed at the track, and have a reputation to uphold... so the pressure is on. But it was still SOOOOOO much fun. Thank you everyone so much f...

Re: I made it... :)
Just after surgery, my friend took me shopping, but decided it'd be quicker if she put me in a wheel chair. But being new to the chair thing, we got stuck in the checkout isle... so she whispered to me that I'd have to get out so she could collapse the chair to get it through the isle... you should ...
